The worker entered the room containing the time machine and flipped down his welding mask. He had little time now, but this was his only opportunity. About twenty minutes later, the task was complete, and he began welding the new tank back into place. Rajada entered the room. After a moment, the worker stopped and turned to Rajada. "Hey hey!" he said cheerfully, "Just got that new tank installed, so she's not going to explode any time soon. You want me to remove the modifications he made as well?" Rajada glanced at the modifications Balthazar had made to the machine. "No," Rajada replied. "It might be dangerous, I need to study them first, make sure they can be removed without further catastrophe." "You're the boss," the worker said, picking up his welding unit. "See you tomorrow!" he said as he left the room. Rajada just stared at the machine for a moment. He approached it, almost cautiously at first, before he took a deep breath and flicked it on. Half expecting it to immediately explode, Rajada shielded his head. After a moment of quiet whirring, the machine booted, a nearby TV screen flicking to life. Rajada stared at the machine quizzically. These modifications seemed functional now, and the TV was showing a camera feed from somewhere he didn't recognize. Rajada's curiosity got the better of him, and he began to push buttons, the screen flashing through different cameras as he looked for clues as to what was going on.
The worker ditched his equipment in the first inconspicuous spot he could find. He quickly punched some buttons on his wrist mounted computer and vanished into thin air.
