The Adventures of Rajada: page -7
Rajada peeked over his cards. "You sure?" "Yes," RTSPlayer responded, sitting on a folding chair across from Rajada. "I am sure." Rajada made a displeased noise, and drew another card from the table. "You sure we won't bump into anyone?" RTSPlayer asked against the purple backdrop. "You ask that every time." Rajada tapped his wrist computer. "I know all the timings. Now if you don't mind me asking, why Go Fish of all games?" "I dunno, guess I got tired of beating you at poker." "Beating me? We've never played poker!" "Yeah, sorry, I guess I get things mixed up here, being timeless and all that. Wish I could go home. Got any threes?" Rajada handed a single card over. "You know you can't. You died in the other universe. If you come home before the universes merge the universes will seek balance the easiest way possible. You'll get hit by a bus or something. Got any kings?" "With my luck, a meteor will fall out of the sky and crush me. Go fish." Rajada drew another card, discarding a pair soon after. "Raj, when the universes do merge, how do I know you'll come get me? What if you turn evil? I'll be trapped here." Rajada shook his head. "It won't happen, besides, you're one of the most valuable people in any universe. An eternity to study the fabric tethering time and space together. You have knowledge any evil genius would kill to get their hands on. Speaking of, I wonder how evil Rajada is doing with that virtual cheese project I decided to create." RTSPlayer laughed. "Seriously? You invented virtual cheese?" Rajada shrugged. "Well I did in some universe. Nines please." RTSPlayer shook his head. "All the Rajadas in the multiverse and I got the lazy one. Hopefully not too lazy to go fish." Rajada drew another card.
