I need help with looking around with a controller

I got my Xbox Controller to work with the game. But when I try to look around with the right thumb stick, the camera will move on its own. How do I stop this from happening?

Nerf ArenaBlast is from 1999, and has never received any updated joystick / controller support. It is not one of the components I can update myself. You may have better luck using some interface program to remap the controller buttons to the keyboard buttons in NAB. I have heard of someone using Steam's Big Picture controller support to do this, but I'm not sure if there are other issues involved in running NAB through Steam.
