A picture of the Championship Arena.
"The largest arena in the tournament, this is where the final match is held. It can seat 200,000 fans and has full television coverage from every angle. So, players should be sure to play their best - no one wants to mess up in front of millions of fans worldwide."

~Excerpt from the Nerf ArenaBlast manual~

The ultimate arena, the final match before you become the Nerf Champion of the World. You'll have to navigate the multiple layers of this Romanesque colosseum, testing your skills in every category; close quarters, sniping, and everything in-between.

The arena is suitably large for its importance, though under default conditions it can feel like you're chasing point targets while looking for evasive players to tag instead. You might need one or two more players to fill this arena to competitor capacity. But even if you're playing this map for the first time in the campaign, it supports a strategy of constant movement and aggression.

Lots of fun verticality to be had here.

One thing this map excels at is vertical design. There are a lot of higher floors to be exploited for tactical advantages, so tagging enemies from above is a dominant strategy here. But you're never too far away from a ramp or a bouncer up, so you don't feel completely unable to counter your opponents that have the high ground.

Overall, Championship arena is good, fast fun. While not as unique as some of the more gimmicky maps, it stands shoulder to shoulder with them. It is a great map to mix into your server maplist, even when you're running community-made maps.
