I need help with the "Choose Install location" part of "NAB Community Pack Full" was created by AvalancheG
When I get to the "Choose Install location" part of the "NAB Community Pack Full" just used the default destination folder then click install but then it comes up with this pop-up message saying "It doesn't appear NAB is installed in this directory. Would you like to change the path?"
I have no idea what to do now. Could someone help?
(P.S. I'm using a mac. I'm also using wine to run NAB (If you don't know what wine is it's a application that allows you to run window program on to a mac)

Everything should work fine in Wine, I've had several users use it in the past. But you do have to run the game once before installing the CP, or else the required ini files won't be created, and the CP won't be able to patch them.
If that's not the issue, try the help article here, but I'm not sure if this applies to Wine:

Yes I am. If that's not the problem, I'd suggest double checking where the CP is installing first. Make sure it is going to the right directory.
Then go ahead and open up that directory. Inside the Nerf folder should be a System folder. Open it up, and make sure you have both a User.ini and a Nerf.ini file within. (If you are hiding file extensions, the ini files usually look like notepads with gears on them.)
If you are missing one or the other (or both), something isn't working right with your save data. What I'd do is go back to that article about locked files, but this time check the alternative path that sometimes hold your ini files (due to permission issues) and see if they are there instead.
Report back to me when you've done all that. If all else fails try re-installing the base game in the same directory, and running it once more. Out of curiosity, how did you install the base game? Was it an original CD or an Abandonia download or something else?
